Located in the heart of Marina Square, Wentworth Point, The Dancing Bear bar opens out to the Rhodes skyline, on the opposing side of Parramatta River.
Inspired by Brutalism on a small scale, the design of the open plan bar is one that is simple, a “bare minimum” approach. The simplicity of using only concrete, brass metal, and oak accents in the design, allows for The Dancing Bear’s middle-eastern-inspired, experiential cocktails, foods, and service to come to life.
Outside, concrete bank seating curves around the boundary of the bar, with a few black chairs and tables scattered about. With the subtle placement of the mirror splashback at the back of the bar, a glimpse of the distant Rhodes skyline, can be seen reflected at every angle.
Like the brand itself, the openness of the design, invites locals and visitors alike, to escape from reality, amidst hanging festoon lights and ethereal Australian sunsets.
